Lord, Thy word says that if Thy people which are called by Thy name will humble themselves and pray and seek Thy face, then Thou wilt hear from heaven and heal their land.

Lord, we have been humbled by our sins as a nation, yet we seek Thy face tonight on behalf of Thy servant, George. Give him clarity. Grant him wisdom. Allow him to sense Thy grace and peace. According to Thy will, let me find favor in the eyes of the people of this land, like Joseph found favor in the land of Egypt.

May all the devices of those who promote unrighteousness be brought to nought. May the candidates that promote their wicked agenda be frustrated in their attempts to find favor with the people of this land.

Lord, we know the great privilege of our republican form of government, handed to us by godly men. Yet we also know that Thou art the one who truly raises up rulers and casts them down. What a blessing, O Jehovah, that we might in the end, rest and trust in Thee and Thy goodness. In Jesus' blessed name we pray, Amen.
