I couldn't agree more. If you look to the examples set by men, even those who profess Jesus Christ, you will always be able to find inconsistencies. Consider the life of the Apostle Peter, who, after proclaiming his undying loyalty to Jesus Christ, denied Him at a crucial moment. Fortunately, Peter, unlike Judas, was broken by his sin and crawled back to the cross where he found the cleansing forgiveness of Jesus Christ.

Not being an apologist for the doctrines of men, I have no desire to defend the lives of televangelists, hucksters, false prophets or religionists. But this particular article by Hal Lindsey squares with Scripture and is representative of the objections raised by men.

Jesus fulfilled the Law. The Ten Commandments are just part of the Law of Moses. We as Christians should not walk after the Law but after faith. The Law is not made for the righteous.

Jesus came saying Repent (change your mind) and believe the Gospel. 2nd Corinthians defines the Gospel as the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus.

Walk by faith in the power of God not in the righteousness of the Law.

"The Unitarian Church? That's not a church, it's some sort of country club without
a golf course!"
