2. Kerry didn't seem to know there were already sanctions on Iran.
3. Summit. Summit. Summit. Blah, Blah. Blah.
4. Kerry is opposed to the nuclear bunker busters as though we're the moral equivelant of our enemies. How very 80's of him.
5. Kerry certainly won Kim Jong Il's vote.
6. Kerry wants both bi-lateral AND multi-lateral discussions with North Korea? Sheesh. How about a stand? Sorry, forgot who we're dealing with.
7. Kerry said nuclear proliferation is his greatest fear and opposes missile defense? Uhm, okay.
8. He mis-spoke about the 87 billion dollars? How about, as Bush might put it, he mis-voted? Terrible reponse.
9. Was Iraq a mistake, or wasn't it? He doesn't know. He says both in the same debate. I rub my hands in anticipation of the RNC's commercial on this.
10. No subways were closed during the Republican convention. Duh.
There's little I see for Kerry to work with coming out of this debate in a substantive way. Bush can make hay. Kerry can pump his fist in the air. I'd prefer both but given the choice, I'll take the hay.
How about Kerry's contention that Hussein didn't attack us in the leadup to the war?
BTTT
Hopefully, our talking heads and our commercial writers will make up for this in the next couple of days, but it sure would have been nice if W had taken care of business himself last night.
That's why Bush won. Bush gave nothing except facial expressions to the democrats. Kerry gave us the following words.
global test
eliminate our nuclear program
give nuclear fuel to Iran
Here is what I do not understand:
Iraq was a "mistake" there are no terrorists or threats there.
Then in the same debate:
"Terrorist are pouring over the border"
If terrorists are not in Iraq, then who are the car bombers and people sawing civilians heads off?
This is such an obvious contradiction. Bush needs to ask Kerry who is doing this if not terrorists? the Boy Scouts?
"10. No subways were closed during the Republican convention."
And everyone in NY knows it.
"Global test" was that Global Smell Test?
Word association:
global, globe, balloon, lead balloon. The reason the "global test" will stick to Kerry is that he comes across as a global trotter too "sophisticated" to put American "rubes" first.
Probably not provable, but the story about the two returning servicemen from Iraq that told him they needed him. He said that help was on the way. It didn't happen. You could smell that lie a country mile away. Vultures circled the debate the stink of that lie wafted so high.
I had this same thought last night and would have said something but figured I had too much there for a one line vanity so I kept it to myself.
I've laid out a plan by which I think we can be successful in Iraq: with a summit, by doing better training, faster, by cutting -- by doing what we need to do with respect to the U.N. and the elections.
Also, we know that skerry got the questions ahead of time...and what he did more or less was give a prepared speech...so folks keep your chin up and hold it high...President Bush set skerry up beautifully. ;o)
EVERYONE NEEDS TO READ THIS POST:

Bush built the container or the house to destroy Kerry.... Kerry is running water---- Bush let him run freely as he prepared the frames of the container to keep the aqueous behavior of Kerry... the house was successfully built...it is ugly and dirty work, that is why Bush worked so hard and let Kerry run.
The container was built on three key principles:
1. Kerry is a flip-flop politician
2. Kerry is a globalist proUN proWorld Court
3. Kerry is anti/weak on defense and poor for morale
Bush contained and framed these key "currents" of this liquid chameleon Kerry. Bush can now beat the hell out of Kerry within the house in which Bush framed. Kerry can't move. The only way for Kerry to escape is by exploding the frame, which will destroy his campaign... he'll have to embrace these "currents"....
Bush has won, he was winning the debates... not the debate.
And you won't hear this until that dark mousy curly haired Krauthammer speaks on Fox... then all the news hacks will pick it up.... and I don't get paid for this... those stupid losers in the beltway press get all the doe.
Oh, because I can't spell

11. Kerry Says Bush Should Have Transferred Authority Over Iraq to the UN After Baghdad Fell
This is where Kerry will really start to come unhinged. He goes into the big 1st debate. He's smooth, he's on his game, he even keeps his reptilian flicking tongue in his mouth for most of the night. He walks off the stage thinking he's kicked butt. His advisors are pumped, even giddy. Then he wakes up this morning and what's the buzz? The Global Test. Lies, more lies and lies about lies. He's right back on the defensive. It's gotta be frustrating for him. And now he'll go into the next debate thinking he's got to do more, he's gotta break through somehow - and that's when he'll cross into Algore territory - starting to get downright nutty. It's gonna be fun to watch.
W should have nailed him and asked why he wasn't present to vote for S 2400 (Ronald W. Reagan National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2005)He simply didn't show up to vote.
