"As it regards Iraq and the war on terror, Bush is sitting on classified material which if released would blow Kerry out of the water. IMHO, Bush is disgusted with the fact that Kerry has either seen or should have seen the same thing and is completely mis-characterizing the whole issue."

Watching Bush, that is exactly the feeling I had.

Do you really think there was any chance Bush was going to "win" this debate, as far as the media was concerned?

Most of the media seems to have seen what I saw. Bush was strong in the beginning of the debate but really blew it in the second half. He looked nervous, uncomfortable and unsure of himself.

I've been a huge Bush fan since 2000, but seeing my leader acting nervous under pressure, when challenged by a fraud like Kerry does NOT inspire my confidence.

It wouldn't be so bad if Bush lost the debate in a fair fight.

But he was sent up to the podium over-tired and under-prepped.

Bush was set up.

The goddamn campaign manager set him up.

My point is that even if Bush had been flawless in the debate, the media was going to say that Kerry won. Because if they hadn't, his campaign would be pretty much over. The media had to anoint Kerry the comeback kid, no matter how he performed.

Well then Bush did them all a great favor.
