Kerry a liar, and guilty of treason above and beyond Aaron Burr

Aaron Burr distinguished himself as a war hero in the American Revolutionary Army under General George Washington. His success got him elected as vice president of the United States, serving under President Thomas Jefferson. He was elected to the United States Senate in 1791.

Burr ran for president of the U.S. against Jefferson and missed becoming president by one vote. After the duel murder of Alexander Hamilton by Burr, he was tried for treason because it was found that he was engaged in lies, schemes and questionable activity against the U.S. government. Even though Burr was acquitted by Supreme Court Justice John Marshall, his reputation was destroyed.

His bitterness against his political foes, his arrogance, plus lying and scheming against his own government brought him to national disgrace. Evil may be difficult to define to satisfy some, but believe me, it is not hard to see.

John Kerry is a veteran of the Vietnam War. He claims to have an impressive war record. Even though he received three Purple Heart medals, he admits that two were mere scratches and only one wound for which he received a Purple Heart Medal kept him from field service for only two days. Kerry measures himself by his own handmade yardstick. A good way to fool yourself and others for awhile.

The tragedy of this kind of person is that he starts believing his own lies, and the more he believes them the bigger they get.

At Kerry's own request he returned to the U.S. and even while still in the service began like Aaron Burr to betray his own country in antiwar demonstration, even though the Vietnam War was still on and our servicemen and women were bleeding and dying for their country. At his own request he got out of the Navy several months before his time was up to carry on his anti-American campaign.

Even Aaron Burr did not falsely accuse the nation's army and officers of war atrocities as John Kerry did before Congress. There he told stories of horror, of soldiers raping women, cutting off ears, arms and legs and even heads. He and his fellow antiwar demonstrator Jane Fonda committed treason against the United States government by aiding and abetting the enemy.

Now, the man by his own Senate voting record and campaign statements, has proven himself to be a pathological liar. Mr. Clinton did most of his lying with a smile on his face. Mr. Kerry snarls his lies, but lies like chickens will come home to roost.

Aaron Burr infamous schemer and traitor to his country will have to play second fiddle to John Kerry. Kerry has outdone Burr.

The tragedy of this kind of person is that he starts believing his own lies, and the more he believes them the bigger they get.

Clinton carefully constructed his lies parsing words such that he could believe he was telling "the truth." Arnold Schwarzenegger has a similar talent. Kerry, OTOH, doesn't even bother to concern himself with whether he's lying. He just says whatever he thinks will help him win.

Kerry, is used to having the Boston Globe around to cover him. He expects the Tim Russerts of the world to throw him softballs. Rather is reinforcing that behavior. Clearly, his apparent hubris is no concern to him. Whether the chickens come home to roost has yet to be seen. This guy will deny anything.

With all the bloviating on FR about how the Democrats are on the ropes, here we have the weakest candidate I have ever seen within a few points of making this election a nail-biter. It shouldn't be that close. It gives me concern that corporate moderate Republican hubris, spending ourselves broke expecting not to get caught short, marginalizing our base and expecting not to pay the long term consequences, caving to liberal policies and demographically and financially decimating our base won't itself come home to roost. It clearly already has. Our own willingness as conservatives to compromise with moderate candidates speaks volumes in that regard.

Conservatives have the innovative solutions to any number of society's problems yet fail to communicate how their solutions work while "moderates" allow leftists to define the terms of virtually every issue. Until we learn how to sell those ideas, we deserve to keep losing ground.

I agree and I believe that our government and institutions have been and are being hijacked by Left Winged Socialists. John Kerry is everything I loathe in a human being. Having said that, I also believe in the American people and that despite the corruption, the MSM and how close the race is, President Bush will be re-elected.

The problem is today's America doesn't hold those people accountable. Look at John Walker Lindh! Kerry is, in the true sense of the word, a traitor. He committed treason. Now we know George Washington is looking down on us in astonishment and disgust. Never was a man so despicable given the opportunity to run for the presidency. He is even worse than Clintoon and that is saying a lot.
