As a Copperas Cove gard, I grew up close to Crawford. The reality is that this is a great story and truly reflects Texas.

Don't believe the 'Texas is newly conservative stuff'. Texas has always been conservative but the nutcases took over the Democratic party at the national level. It certainly isn't Bob Bullock's party, Sam Rayburn's, Lloyd Bentson's, JJ Pickle's, or the party that represented Texas for so long.

Small town Texas is perfect. Too bad it got caught up in a nutcase who felt he could influence national politics by abandoning his constituency.

BTW, go Bulldog's!!
