"W looked tired and off his game "
You'd think that Mr. Bush and his handlers would realize how important this first debate was , and have him bright eyed and BUSHYTAILED ( pun sorta intended ) and ON his game , n'est pas ? Perhaps he was up all night doing his overdue homework ?
Could be, or perhaps that considering that unlike Kerry, President Bush still has to do his job as President as he campaigns. That cannot be an easy set of balls to juggle, and then have to go and stand there and listen to Kerry begin with a barage of lies and misrepresentations from the get go, that it would have taken the entire 90 min to unravel....I would scowl too......that is if I didn't just go pop him and get it overwith;/
You'd think that a sophisticated, continentally minded liberal like yourself would have a better grasp of your French grammar. The correct term is "n'est-ce pas."
If this doesn't get the GOP out on the hustings, nothing will.

Try listening to the debate again and I guarantee (unless you're braindead and I have no reason to think either of you are) you'll see Bush was on his game and then some.
Also I'd like to point out the excessive and baseless handwringing is playing into the opponents hands. Let's stick with reality and not exaggerate perceived GWB weaknesses.
NO, he was out all day visitng hurricaine devastated areas and talking with people in Florida. Kerry was getting a manicure or something...
