I remember when he walked out on stage and took his place behind the podium that he placed his hand in his coat and pulled out something looking like a small business card and placed it on the podium. I remarked at the time to my wife that I did not think that the debaters were supposed to have cue cards. I may be wrong but thats what I thought I saw.
