The arrogance of the 3 Old Gray Men is nothing short of astonishing. We have known for years that they believe themselves to be superior to the rest of us, but this story has really brought their arrogance out in full force for all to see.
Thank God the Internet exists so that we can learn the truth and watch them take their careers and their networks down the tubes by failing to acknowledge what is so obvious to most Americans - Rather and Mapes attempted to manipulate an election by presenting fabricated and patently false documents to support a lie.
That this even occured is breathtakinjg in and of itself!!

No, but I remember a book by Jim Leher about a rigged debate where the liberal left sought to ruin a republican presidential candidate with 'newly found documents'.
I want to know more about this lady(?). She appears the quintessential charlatan. As wild-eyed a fanatic as I've ever seen. Is there any real difference between Mary Mapes and a snake oil salesman? And she found a home in the news business....surprise! Even captain Dan, in a rare lucid moment, must have felt the heat emanating from this bit of creative journalism when(if?) he booted it upstairs. I still believe captain Dan was a willing dupe and the front man. Essentially the useful idiot. If captain Dan declines to fall on his sword, this could get interesting.
We have GOT to stay on our toes because of the likes of Mary Mapes.
God spare us from these network crusaders.
