Exclusive: Saddam Possessed WMD, Had Extensive Terror Ties (10/4/2004)
CNS News ^ | 10/4/2004 | Scott Wheeler

(CNSNews.com) - Iraqi intelligence documents, confiscated by U.S. forces and obtained by CNSNews.com, show numerous efforts by Saddam Hussein's regime to work with some of the world's most notorious terror organizations, including al Qaeda, to target Americans. They demonstrate that Saddam's government possessed mustard gas and anthrax, both considered weapons of mass destruction, in the summer of 2000, during the period in which United Nations weapons inspectors were not present in Iraq. And the papers show that Iraq trained dozens of terrorists inside its borders.

One of the Iraqi memos contains an order from Saddam for his intelligence service to support terrorist attacks against Americans in Somalia. The memo was written nine months before U.S. Army Rangers were ambushed in Mogadishu by forces loyal to a warlord with alleged ties to al Qaeda.

Other memos provide a list of terrorist groups with whom Iraq had relationships and considered available for terror operations against the United States.

I'm waiting for the documents that connect Iraq with the Oklahoma City bombing. Possibly a suicide as well. I may wait until the Infernal Region is Arctic, but I don't think that McVeigh and Nichols acted alone.

Why oh why aren't we looking into sales? How did a country that had only a $100 Million oil industry (total, not annual) rack up billions in bank accounts, in bribes paid and over 4100 billion in debt to Russia, France and China?

CNS got burned on forged documents before. We know for a fact, however, that in general, this information is not new. Saddam did, in fact, support terrorism, and he did, in fact, posess an arsenal of WMDs that have not been accounted for. It is the specifics of these claims that must be validated.

Anyone with half a brain would think that it is more than likely that Saddam had WMD. There is a huge list of unaccounted WMD. It's the concept of size that is the problem.

We're not looking for the haystack. We're looking for the needle. BE WISE!!

And Inspector Doofus said it best: Unless he shows us where they are, we'll never find them.
