SADDAM HAD WMD AND TIES TO AL-QAEDA --- DEAL WITH IT.

SADDAM HAD WMD AND TIES TO AL-QAEDA --- DEAL WITH IT.

One of the Democrats' and The Poodle's favorite ploys is to harp on is that Saddam had no connection to Al-Qaeda and no weapons of mass destruction. Despite mounting evidence to the contrary, the left continues to advance the lie. Well, now comes even more evidence of Saddam's ties to terrorism and his weapons of mass destruction.

Iraqi intelligence documents taken by U.S. forces show a number of efforts by Saddam's government to work with Al-Qaeda, along with other terrorists. The documents also show that Saddam had mustard gas and anthrax, both considered weapons of mass destruction. By the way, some of those weapons, artillery shells with sarin gas, have already been found. You did know that, didn't you?

The papers also show that Iraq trained terrorists, along with orders by Saddam to attack Americans in Somalia. Remember that? The particular memo in question was written 9 months before the Army Rangers were ambushed in Mogadishu, And if that weren't enough, the documents include lists of Saddam's terrorist buddies that he worked with, including al-Zarqawi and al-Zawahiri. The former is still in Iraq, and is responsible for beheading a number of Americans. The latter's voice is believed to be heard on the latest tape broadcast on Al-Jazeera (where else) calling for attacks on Americans everywhere.

No matter how much evidence comes to light that Saddam Hussein supported terrorism and that Iraq was a terrorist state, the Bush-hating media and Islamic terrorist apologists will never concede any justification for the war in Iraq. Why?

Because it would help Bush and hurt Kerry...why else?

Still boggles my mind that teh democrats can't even give it a rest in a time of war. They would rather die than lose an election.

We think alike it seems. Actions speak louder than words and their words pretty much suck too.

Is there a thread here or a site elsewhere that details all of the WMD that have been found in one place. In the haze of my brain fog I remember lots of drums of nerve agents that were classified as 'pesticides', there were several 155mm shells with Sarin traces. There was the IED made from a 155mm Sarin shell. Recently there was a rocket with chem traces. I'm sure I've missed some, but I would love to to have a link I could send those deluded by the MSM to learn the truth.

I am well aware of the sarin binary shell (that was created after 1991 unlike what some in the MSM have reported) and the mustard gas shell and the dozen other shells that have been reported by the inspection team. I am also aware how, it seems, everyone has moved the goal posts.

But from what I understand, the documents that were given to the Internet news group (CNS???) have yet to be authenticated.

Watch the MSM and others start moving the goal posts again if the documents turn out to be true.

There has been enough gas to kill 500,000 people.

I don't doubt for a minute that there is a Saddam - al- Qaeda connection, but I KNOW there not only were but are WMD in Iraq.

>>>How do the dimwits rationalize the mass graves?

Actually, ignoring mass graves seems to have been a bipartisan effort for much of Saddam's reign.

Saddam is quoted as having said that among his proudest accomplishments is his 1978 campaign. He says that he ordered the liquidation of 7,000 people on charges of being "communists."

In his very first week in power (July 1979) he arrested, tortured and executed 450 of the most prominent Iraqis, those whom he feared might someday challenge his rule.

15,000 Kurds who were killed in chemical attacks in 1988.

If Cheney mentions it tonight, maybe the media will pick up on it...

There has been enough gas to kill 500,000 people.Details? Times, dates, locations, links, sources? How much of what?

That is a good talking point for ads, but will not convince people in discussion. I know it...but I need detailed support to help reelect our President.

The Pentagon has confirmed that the shell found in a roadside explosive devise in Iraq actually did contain sarin gas. I'll have to track down teh specifics. I am going by memory and it does not hold footnotes.

I can track down any one...but there have been many. I was looking for a clearinghouse that had them all archived/linked.
