How about a sign pointing out Edwards' blunder last night about taxes?
He said millionaires pay less in tax than the guys on the ground in Iraq.
Fact: if you're miltary in a combat zone (pretty much the entire Persian Gulf)
You pay NO INCOME TAX.
Combat Zone Exclusions [Edwards: mil on in Iraq pay income tax. this guy represents the 82nd?], page from the DoD: "exclusion is unlimited for enlisted members and warrant officers and is limited to $6315.90 per month in 2004, for officers. If you spend a single qualifying day in the combat zone, your pay for the entire month is excluded from taxable income."
Edwards doesn't know it and neither do his advisors.
If you spend ONE DAY in the combat zone, your ENTIRE MONTH'S PAY IS TAX FREE.
What a complete maroon.
