and just exactly how could Israeli jets travel over Jordan, Iraq, the Persian Gulf with two US carrier task forces, without full American complicity? And if they can get there, how are they going to get back to Israel?

Kerry undoubtedly knows about this. Maybe that is why he was offering to give Iran some non-weapons grade materials and build some reactors for them. Maybe he was saying, "Its your last chance...wake up and take the deal, its the best you are going to get"
