Warning issued on City of Milwaukee Election Comm web site because of ongoing registration fraud
City of Milwaukee, WI ^ | 10/05/04 | unknown

Posted on 10/05/2004 2:29:17 PM PDT by UB355

ATTENTION VOTERS who have recently registered:

Accurate identification data may not have been properly relayed to the Election Commission office for registration. Therefore, it would be advisable for you to be prepared to re-register with identification on election day.

(The warning is in red, which I don't know how to duplicate)

Let's hope that Bush can maintain a 10 point lead in WI. This crap becomes irrelevant at that point.

Actually, this is good news....the warning says that re-registration will require ID - not perfect, but it is a step above some paid DIM handing in a stack of registrations for new "voters"

I agree! They should require ID at all polls! We need to get this situation under control and requiring ID is one small way to help.

Yes, and you can count of the Dems jumping up and down about disenfranchised voters! I get so sick of their whining bs!

And it's not even as if you have to be "a winner in life's lottery" even to the extent of owning a car and having a driver's license.

The MV offices in GA will issue a non-driver picture ID card for 10 bucks.

If you don't have 10 bucks, you probably shouldn't be voting.

Perfect. Void all current registrations and make new registrants present citizenship info, etc. when they vote on election day. This should be done everywhere. I actually posted this idea a few days ago.

In other words .. too many people have entered PHONEY ADDRESSES .. therefore, you will have to prove who you are in order to vote.

That's great!!

Shut down the online registration.

Meaning the RAT volunteers may have thrown away your paperwork if you registered Republican?

Hey from milwaukee I expect as much. It is the only city I know that elect a socialist mayor 3 times!

Actually it is kinda sad when I left wisconsin about 14 years ago things really were not this bad.

This is good news! Being asked for ID to register to vote or to just vote is a good idea and I really don't understand why some call it "voter intimidation". I just had to re-register to vote last week and was asked for ID by the city clerk. Was happy to oblige her. I think ALL states should be asking every voter for ID....of course Kerry's lawyers will be all over that --especially in the inner cities.

Maybe not. Dems have ID's, too. How are they going to rent that DVD at the video store? Maybe two or more. After all, you have to have a fake ID if you're under age and try to buy beer. And if an illegal, you get one to get a driver's license (or maybe the license itself is fake).
