After the debate get ready to FREEP polls thanks to the idiots at DU

Posted on 10/05/2004 4:40:07 PM PDT by youngrepublican1986

The fine folks at Democratic Underground have compiled a list of all the sites that will have debate polls on them. Let's defeat the whole purpose of it...sponsor a DUer, and cancel out their vote!

Hope this isn't a fuax pas (and sorry for the french, too)...

For tonight's vice presidential debate, we are posting a list of websites that are likely to have online polls. Please visit these websites and vote on each of these polls. If you find another poll, please post it in this thread so we can add it to the list.

IMPORTANT -- Please note that many of these links haven't yet posted their poll. We have a simple graphical icon next to each poll indicating whether a poll is online yet or not:

No - Poll is not online yet. Please post in this thread when a poll becomes available, and provide a link to the poll.

Yes - Poll is online. Go vote!

Thanks for the list. Some people may think its a waste of time to flood polls, but some news stations will use the polls as news and use it disparage a candidate, plus its always fun to beat the DUmmies at there own game.

My view is that this is a waste of time. Most reporters/anchors get annoyed by these kind of tactics. Moreover, we should spend our efforts on important things like fundraising and/or next Memogate type of stories.

waste of time

This tactic is used by demos to put doubt into minds of some vulnerable voters...With sincerity I would reject them. They will turn out to look like the fools they are.

Really meaningless. The DUers fill themselves full of a false sense of security when the skew the results then claim it is valid and relevant.

. Anybody brainless enough to vote based on poll results should be neutered to keep them from contaminating the gene pool.

But until then, their vote counts as a whole vote. And since some are dumb enough to make their vote selection based upon polls, trends and media hype about the same, then a counterattack is justified.

1 dumb vote = 1 smart vote once they are both in the box.
