I completely agree that Clinton desperately desires to be Secretary General and his globe-trotting and pandering to foreign countries was part of an ongoing and aggressive Sec. Gen. campaign. However, as a US citizen, Clinton is ineligible. Under UN bylaws the Secretary General may not be from a country with a seat on the Security Council. Accordingly, for Clinton to fufill his aspiration, the US would have to lose it's permanent seat.

So Clinton will just renounce his American citizenship and seek residence elsewhere, or he'll exploit a loophole. You have to remember that rules, agreements, and bylaws don't mean a thing to Clinton. He and his wife has violated them since the late seventies.

Could clinton give up his American citizenship and become a citizen of ..lets say.... Ireland and then be Sec Gen of the UN? Wasn't there some talk about him buying an estate in Ireland?

Or..........Clinton obtains citizenship in Ireland or Scotland (I forget where his ancestors came from) and with dual citizenship claim eligibility.
