Rats are whining about Cheney had met Edwards before. Ann said Edwards is not memorable.

Of course Cheney's point was he had never seen Edwards at work in the senate...that's why Cheney's preface to the remark was his time spent there, on the senate floor, as president of the Senate, where he never saw Edwards.

I wish Cheney had said, "Edwards has been awol from the senate". That's exactly what he was saying.

Lawrence O'Donnell can spin this into a pretzel....if that's his main criticism of Cheney's performance, then we know for certain O'Donnell knows Cheney kicked girlie man butt last night, he just won't admit it.
