I guess the fact that the House voted down the bogus Dem draft bill by a 402-2 margin doesn't register on Moran's radar. Which makes him a FINE addition to the Kerry campaign team, which couldn't tell Bob Kerrey apart from John Kerry.

Moran himself voted against the bill. Even more amusing, Charlie Rangel himself actually voted against his own bill, and then claimed that he did so because it wasn't given serious enough consideration.

I guess the fact that the House voted down the bogus Dem draft bill by a 402-2 margin doesn't register on Moran's radar. It didn't register on the reporters radar either. They left that little tidbit out of the article. Why spoil a really good story line with a few discordant facts.

This is a small town newspaper. I just wrote the Editor a note, asking whether his newspaper was "already on the presses when this article was overtaken by events." Odds are, it is a biweekly at most, and was being printed when the House voted 402-2 to kill the draft.
If so, the Editor will logically run a corrective article in the next issue. And I suggested that he point out in that correction that Moran did NOT vote for this bill.

Neither did the fact that one of its sponsors, voted "NO" also.
