(IsraelNN.com) An explosion occurred a short time ago in the Taba Hilton, on the Egyptian side of the border. According preliminary reports from Magen David Adom emergency medical service officials, the cause of the blast was a gas tank.
There are unconfirmed reports of dozens of injured. The IDF has already ordered helicopters into the air and MDA is mobilizing to treat the many wounded in the blast. Details to follow as they become available.

Booby-trapped cars may be behind Sinai blasts-TV
CAIRO, Oct 8 (Reuters) - Two of the three blasts that struck Egyptian resorts on Thursday may have been caused by booby-trapped cars, the Egyptian governor of South Sinai told an Egyptian television channel.
Bomb blasts hit three Egyptian Red Sea resorts used by vacationing Israelis on Thursday and at least 35 people were feared dead from the biggest explosion at the Hilton hotel in the resort town of Taba near the Israeli border.
South Sinai Governor Mustafa Afifi told Nile News TV that evidence from the blasts at seaside campsites of Tarabin and Ras al-Sultan further south indicated they may have been bombed.
"There are two seaside camp sites. I think it (the blasts) was a result of booby-trapped cars because we found small pick-ups completely burnt out."
Asked about casualties, he said two people were killed, one Egyptian and one Israeli, and 10 others were wounded. A hospital source earlier said that one Egyptian had been killed, while an Israeli was among the wounded taken to Nueiba hospital.
Ras al-Sultan has also been referred to as Ras Sheetan.

There was also a thread today about a car bomb in NJ near a tunnel. It may be unrelated to terrorist but info coming out slow and no name of the driver released yet. Flags go up when the cause released before the investigation though.

It is not whether we should or not. Of course we should not, but it will happen. People will take so much and then emotions explode.
Look at Christian history. Some of the worst things the West did was in combating islam at its worst. We knew it was wrong even turned some historical figures into the epitome of pure evil (Dracula), even though what the real person did, he did because nothing else was saving his homeland from islamic invasion. Only the most horrific turns islam back once on its march.
Islam will keep up its march killing and conquering until normal loving non-muslims become overheated with enough hatred to do something so horrific to islam that they become terrified and stop, until the next rise of islamism a century or two later.
The hatred against islam is just beginning. With each beheading, school massacre, building bombing, car bombing, suicide bomber, kidnapping the hatred will just continue to grow and grow until critical mass is reached. The only way to stop it comes from islam, and they can't stop because their holy book calls for this action from good muslims.
History repeats itself. There is nothing to stop it, just strange.
This is really bad. Egypt is I am correct is where Qutb came from. I believe radical of Islam of today came from Egypt. Not surprising. I know Muslim Brotherhood started in Egypt, the forerunner of Islamic terrorism. Also, Nazis fled to Egypt after World War II.
