"Since May 2004, ISG has recovered a total of 53 chemical weapons from various sources and military units throughout Iraq. A preliminary assessment indicates they are part of Iraq's pre-1991 stockpile. Variations in size, type, and agent fill raise the possibility that other, similar rounds remain at large." - Comprehensive Report of the Special Advisor to the DCI on Iraq's WMD, Volume 3, page 30. Including in Khamisiyah forty-one 122-mm sarin/cyclosarin SAKR=18 rockets!!!!!!!! 4-Jun, 25-Jun, 29 July 2004

This sounds like a "stockpile" to me.

"The politics of the left...will get us killed. This is insanity."

It is and just seems to get worse and worse. This is a slow burn civil war.

The Liberal Party must be saved at the expense of everything else.

As I recall, 40 MIG-29s were found buried in the desert. That takes up a lot of volume.

We will be astonished at the crap that will emerge from iraq in the nexr 30 years...

Funny how the libs in California want to label the .50BMG round as a "Weapon of Mass Destruction", but poison gas shells...

They ain't got the brains God gave a box of rocks.

Nope, doesn't count. There needs to be masses of them, hence the Weapons of MASS Destruction. They also weren't found in the WMD warehouse, properly labeled.

These must be Forged WMDs!

You are right they still are inherently dangerous and could still kill many. 53 weapons of this type could kill 100s of thousands of people and do consitute a stockpile Sarin based weapons.

Biological weapons lose their potency rather quickly. Chemical weapons that are ten years old are going to be almost as potent as when they were new.

Did you catch Kerry's comment during the first debate? He said something to the effect that because of W's poor leadership, we didn't have enough troops on the ground to prevent the WMDs from being smuggled out of the country.

Now how can he say that WMDs were smuggled out of Iraq, and then say that there were no WMDs. Oh, I'm sorry, this is John Kerry we're talking about.

Best Regards

Remember the roadside IED made out of a chemical shell that our troops discovered last May? We never did find out where that warhead came from, and how many more there might be.

I assume the DNC wouldn't care if we store them at their headquarters in Washington, DC.

Wasn't Saddam supposed to destroy all of his WMDs?

Every time anything turns up in Iraq, the libs cry, "yeah, but these are pre Gulf War," as if that makes it o.k. However, I think the UN Resolutions forbade him having any whatsoever, old or not, regardless of whether he was still producing them.

Daily I become more and more convinced that we aren't just eating ourselves in this country, but there is outside influence pushing the hate around.

I mean, look at the current political race: even in the pursuit of raw power, what does Kerry think he's doing? He is NOT ready for prime time, even less so than Edwards. Their arrogance aside, they really must suspect this. If they did become the next admin, they'd eff up something so badly they'd be run out on a rail, or worse. It's not like they can effectively lead, and once in power, those who can't see their failings and impotence surely will. The chances of them being elected are very small, but damned if the race won't be forced to go to the wire, and a photo finish to boot!

It's like the election is meant to be a buffer on what we need to do in conducting the war, a distraction from something else. The whole situation is making us vulnerable, and I think that's by design.

Has there ever been an accounting of all the hidden tunnels that we were all told about before the war? There was some German firm that designed and built them and the conceptual drawings were published, as I recall.

"Chemical weapons that are ten years old are going to be almost as potent as when they were new."

I know Sarin comes from a plant, but it is still a chem weapon, correct? So what your saying is that these Sarin-tipped weapons are still bad hombres?

%*@$#!!^#& the libs and their crap!
