LOL. But it must be something to protect him. Think of this man taking all this hate and still being so steady.

Frankly, it looks like a bullet proof vest under his jacket.

Also, if there was a feed to him, he would have done much better than he did, so their allegation is just ludicrous.

Maybe that's why he was leaning forward. He wasn't comfortable:')

The image shows a large solid object between Bush's shoulder blades as he leans over the lectern and faces moderator Jim Lehrer.

Actually I noticed rather a large bulge in his pants, while watching the said debate. It looked like Prez. Bush was quite horny that evenin"

It was really cute. He was talking about liberal senators and what needed to be done in congress. He said something about becoming the most liberal senator not easy and then he leaned forward and grinned and said something like "some might even say it's "hard work"

I'll just say that my cheap armor fits better than that and covers more vital areas than his seems to if that is, in fact, body armor. It just doesn't look like a SAPI plate to me.

No kidding. I'm going to call the WH Comment line in the morning with two messages:
1. To please address the threat against our schools - AND that we wouldn't know about it unless we had boots on the ground in Iraq, and

2. To let him know that I - and many others - will be praying for him.

It looks like a spine to me. I hope he straightens up for tomorrows debate. I did notice he was all hunched over.

I've noticed in the past that Bush must be highly suggestable. He went through a period where he had picked up the Wolfowitz facial expressions and demeanor. The hunched over look seems suggestive of the Cheney slouch. Some people are like that. They take on mannerisms of people they spend a lot of time with.

The Daily Kos is wrong on 90% of what is posted. If it wasn't for the delete key and the ability to edit then it'd be at around 100%.

Could be custom made. Could have plates in various areas meant to guard without being seen. He just happened to slump over and pressed the coat against it in the back middle.

yawn, I saw it the first moment and its really nothing to comment on.

Those of you in the know already know its his personal force shield + computer module whereby he maintains contact with the Asgard aliens

You folks here DO watch Stagate SG-1 dont you? sKerry is in league with the Goa'uld and they are using their formidable resources: the DNC, MSM, SOROS (actually he's another Goa'uld), OPEC, Europe, China and Bin Laden to overthrow America by defeating Bush in this election.

Unfortunately, Stargate teams have been seriously incapicatated and its up to Freepers (you and I) and the rest of the country to stop these Hostile Aliens (including the stinking French) from taking over the country through the elections.....

I think it's the lighting in the photo Eagle Eye. The shadow's playing tricks. We're only catching half of it.

Stay safe over there.

I wouldn't rule out a vest. You could be right. And yes, those battery packs are usually lower down, but the size is about right.

he was slumping forward and it shows the to of the back of the vest.

I've heard those vests are pretty heavy .. does anyone know how much they weigh?
