Outrageously ridiculous!

More evidence of shear desperation by the liberal establishment.

Seriesly, the dems are insane.

If there were anything, it was probably a bullet proof vest showing. I want him to be wearing one when insane leftists are in the audience. Heck, especially when he has an insane Massachussetts liberal standing right next to him.

Cut to the chase. Part of Rove's brain has been implanted in Pres. Bushes head.

Doesn't take a mental giant to figure he's been wearing a bulletproof vest all summer. With the threats surprised it's not a helmet, too.

Ronald Reagan routinely wore a bullet-proof vest, too. Liberals are idiots, there's no other explanation for stuff like this.

those new bullet proof vests do show once in a while - he was slumping forward and it shows the to of the back of the vest.

I believe that enyone familiar with television would recognize that as a battery/antenna pack. These support a lapel mike and are used to avoid a lot of wires and other paraphernalia. Nothing mysterious here at all.

I can't believe all these left-wing media fruit baskets don't recognize this.

I'm sure there are a lot more threats against the Pres. than we'll ever know, I'm relieved to see he is wearing a bullet proof vest!

If Bush needed to be wired with a receiver, why would it be a 1970's Realistic/RadioShack wear on your back model? There are very simple digital receivers that are no bigger than a hearing aid.

The people that are an audience to this sort of nonsense are the same people that thought Bush should have lept to his feet in Florida and charged out of the classroom upon hearing about the second plane. They have no idea about the security surrounding the President and how things work, nor apparently do they care. He pitched the game in NYC after 9/11 wearing a vest. I doubt he takes it off in public.

That's the latest rumor flooding the Internet, unleashed last week in the wake of an image caught by a television camera during the Miami debate

Seems like Salon gets their information from the loonies over at the Daily Kos

IMO .. if I was to take a guess .. since there were 11 anthrax scares just hours before the debate

I'm thinking he may have been wearing a Vest
