Rush played today Kerry's absurd statement that he has a plan, but doesn't know what he'll do in Iraq because by January 20 Bush may have messed it up so badly. Kerry said "I may find Lebanon." This was chilling.
The reference to Lebanon was either to a long and unsolvable civil war, or more specifically to that part of the civil war which saw Ronald Reagan withdraw the marines from Lebanon. Is there any doubt that Kerry, faced with a "Vietnam" type "civil war," is planning to withdraw from Iraq and leave it to the terrorists? And of course this is to be blamed on President Bush.
Kerry is pretending that he'll do whatever his generals advise, once he removes the supposed Bush coercion not to report bad news. But that's leftist doublespeak meaning Kerry will insist on hearing the worst case scenarios and then extricating America from the "mess." All this fits in with the fact Kerry will be desparate to show he is back in bed with the French and Germans. Those countries want an anti-American Iraq to which they can sell armaments and from which they can obtain bribes.
Iraq is not Lebanon, but just as Syria has controlled most of Lebanon for years, Kerry will allow Iran to hold sway over most of Iraq.
If only President Bush would stop calling Kerry a flip flopper and out Kerry for what he is - a leftist and a liar. Kerry plans to make Biden secretary of state. Biden is on record telling Chris Mathews that the only "good" that will come out of the "failed policy" in Iraq, will be a "defeated and demoralized" America that will not dare "threaten Iran or Syria."
Kerry and his ilk hate what we did in Iraq. They want to preserve Iran and Syria as well. Their great international booster, Jimmie Carter, is personally responsible for the success of the Iranian revolution and loss of Iran as a powerful U.S. ally.
If only President Bush would say all this. We are about to be sold out to the left - big time.
Kerry and his plan are full of it.....
(1) The lie about General Shinseki. He wasn't fired; but retired on his own, on schedule.
(2) Kerry will listen to "his generals", Bush did -- the 6 or so that recommended around 150,000 troops in Iraq. Shinseki called for 500,000. He was apparently the lone dissenter.
(3) If Kerry would listen to Shinseki instead of the overwhelming majority, does that mean he would have TRIPLED our military presence in Iraq???
(4) Kerry is already complaining about $200 billion (LIE) having been spent in Iraq. What if we tripled the forces, Senator?
That's a good start....
"Is there any doubt that Kerry, faced with a "Vietnam" type "civil war," is planning to withdraw from Iraq and leave it to the terrorists? And of course this is to be blamed on President Bush."
None here.
May God be with our President and may God have mercy on this nation and prevent a Kerry Presidency.
Primitive:
Either you are with us, or you are with the terrorists.
President Bush
Nuanced:
I actually voted for the 87 billion before I voted against it.Senator Kerry
One thing the Duelfer report shows clearly is that if JFK gets his wish and French, German, Russian and Chinese troops come to our aid in Iraq, he will then be correct in calling it the "Coalition of the Bribed" -- only not bribed by us.
He's a dork.
I'm going to cry if Kerry wins this election.
And I'm a grown man.
I am going to stock up on provisions for the chaos his election will produce.
