Mort Kondracke actually said that he thought Kerry won the debate.

I'm glad I had to take a phone call and missed Konracke's asinine comment. Did he admit that he didn't see/hear the debate and was basing his comment on a DU post?

That assessment of Kerry's performance is dead on target.

Lurch had to spend too much time 'splainin'.

Hey, why don't we revive the "Monster Mash" for Kerry this Halloween?

right: first you criticize yourself, then let Kerry criticize you. Gibson blew his cover of even-handedness on that one.

If Bush won the women tonight according to the poll Kerry is in big trouble. Internals already show Bush carrying the men's vote. Tonight the President looked much more comfortable and was even funny at times making jokes. Clearly John Kerry had it taken to him tonight as he was going back and having to awnser questions late. That intelligence question Kerry couldn't come up with an awnser for. Looks like the momemtum has swung back to the President not counting the fact that Cheney did very well. Looks like the debates now are even with the President and Kerry. Interesting to see the new polls. That health care program will probably kill Kerry that he mentioned as he would definitely have to raise everyones taxes to pay for it if he's going to keep his campaign promise of pay as you go. Just remember that issue as he'll wish he never mentioned this program.

Is just me or does it seem that Fox is trying to get more Democrat viewers.

Couldn't watch tonight because of work, and am catching up here - I'm really surprised by your reports of the FOX panel reaction. Who was on the panel besides Bill K?

I doubt that. Kennedy could not take the nomination from Carter in 1980, and Carter was in all kinds of trouble. It would be the same for her.

Is it TRUE?: Has Rupert Murdock sold FoxNews to a company called NewsCorp who has a President named Peter Chermin who is a huge Kerry supporter. Someone just emailed me this.

If so this is HUGE info for conservatives and explains that Fox is going with Bill O'Reilly as Independent for Kerry.

Kerry came off as a snide weasel. The attacks were relentless and frankly out of place for a presidential debate.
On crude debating points, Kerry destroyed Bush. In projection of personality, Kerry destroyed himself. Even though Bush looked seemingly un-informed, I'd never trust Kerry after his despicable performance.

"I'm really getting sick of Bill Kristol"

I am sick of ALL TV news..It is such a joke with all the jerks crawling all over each other and trying to be popular.

When O'pompous hit the Peter Principle, I cut off my
dish network...That was 3 months ago, and I have not missed a thing.

Other than dog shows what does Ron P. Reagan know? I can't understand any logical reason for the media raising him up as a political authority.</p>
