Libertarians, with whom I often disagree, are among the few legitimate voices in the "loyal" opposition these days. This doesn't sit well with me.

They are not legitimate; they have sold out to the pro-drug movement. So much for loyalty. BTW, the pro-drug movement is sponsored by Soros, the money-bag for the anti-Bush activities.

I would agree with both of you both on most issues related to concepts surrounding the rule of law. However, I'm comparing Libertarians to Democrats. What I'm arguing is that the philosophical argument for small government is far less dangerous to us than the internationalist central planners.

I also agree that there are Libertarians who have fallen for the most effective anti-gunners in history, George Soros.

But a free republic requires loyal dissent as well as its zealots. We have loyal American Libertarians posting here day in and day out with their own unique points of view. America needs everyone pulling together. I have more hope for our Libertarians than our Democrats.
