Considering that we have women Freepers fawning over Cheney I don't see what the problem is with someone fawning over whatshisname. Big deal. Sheesh, even I got married once so there's absolutely no accounting for female tastes!

(oops! did I really type that out loud?)

Did anyone notice the woman in the olive suit who sat in the upper portion of the stands directly behind Bush

Yes! I noticed. She struck me as a sourpuss- and clearly a Kerry supporter.

"undecided" voters seemed to be leaning, shall we say, "strongly" toward Kerry....

NPR listerners, everyone of them. sKerry got leading questions, Bush got attack questions. The whole thing was BS.

We knew the question was going to come up. W handled it brilliantly IMHO.
The partisan feel people were getting was the ghosts of all those dead St Louis voters who generaly vote for the Rats floating around.

We were talking about her during the debate. I like the part where she scowled and covered her face while the POTUS was talking.

I noticed here too.

She did crack up though when Bush asked Gibson, "Wanna buy some wood"?

She reminded me a little bit of Harriett Woods one of the City of St. Louis and Missouri strongest women in the DEMO Party.

Well if she thought about it she should be insulted like all the audience. sKerry looks around and says "by the looks of the crowd only three in this room would be affected by the tax increase on those earning $200,000.00 or more. Myself, President Bush and Charlie Gibson" Like those in attendance were poor rubes.

Typical DNC plant playing for the camera and to bolster what tidbit of image kerry has not. Bush/Cheney 2004

I noticed her also. She seemed to be disinterested in the entire debate like she had been dragged there against her will. She most certainly was a plant. Everyone else in the audience appeared to have a great respect for being in the same room as the most powerful man in the free world President Bush.

I noticed a lot of weird facial expressions in the audience. I have to tell you that I am so depressed this morning. I thought W was great but after listening to all the talking heads, I am beginning to think I watched a different debate. I could strangle that Julian Phillips on Fox & Friends. I turned them off. Even Fox is becoming PC.

Hard not to notice this one, a definate plant kept acting like she needed a nap and what the President was saying was oh so boring. She sat leaning to her left, with no one on her left she stuck out like the pig she portrayed.

I think they ought to drop the whole "undecided" charade. Let DUers ask all the questions of the Republican and FReepers ask the Dim all the questions. I don't know if the candidate's answers will be more enlightening but it sure would give the undecideds a sense of the type of person that is each's supporters!

Actually, I noticed the blond (who asked the abortion question later).

Throughout the debate, she looked like she'd rather be anywhere but there.

Arrgh! That last question.

Now, not a bad last question if it were "What were your three worst mistakes?" Kerry turned it into "What were Bush's three worst mistakes?"

Good debating tactic, but a cheap shot nonetheless.

"She had an ugly face on her all night."

I got news for you. Today it's still ugly.

(Like the old W.C. Fields joke)

I agree Cricket24. I've turned off the TV completely for anything to do with politics. Fox is trying so hard to overcome their conservative label they may as well be any of the other three.
