Okay...this just might be me...but I could have just SWORE I just saw that one "undecided" voter who looked liked a giddy schoolgirl with a crush when she asked her question of Kerry last night in the background at the after-debate Kerry ralley last night just waving her Kerry sign away.......
Were they or were they not supposed to be undecideds?
Which one are you talking about? I noticed the wispy blonde who asked the abortion question would not shake Bush's hand, but eagerly shook Kerry's. Curious--because I thought her question favored Bush.
She had short blond hair, round glasses and kinda a grey suit.
Did she have the flower on the lapel of the suit? I thought most of these "undecided" voters seemed to be leaning, shall we say, "strongly" toward Kerry....
Yes, I thought her question favored Bush, too. V's wife.
They all looked like a bunch of libs. And any question favoring Kerry (enviro, for instance) had them smirking like a bunch of fools. V's wife
Well Fox's morning show every once in awhile will run video of the post debate rally of Kerry on if you catch it you can see her in the background...sure looks like the same woman who asked that question....
In her head she may think that what Bush said would turn off people (she may think everyone thinks like her).
Each attendee had to submit 2 questions. One for Bush and one for Kerry. Then Gibson picked the attendee AND the question. So she might have intended this question for Bush. Irregardless, Kerry just blew it. I thought it was one of his weakest responses, and probably hurts him with a lot of voters. Bush was clear and strong. Partial birth is supported by 80% of so of Americans, so again John Kerry is coming down on the wrong side of important issues.
Or, maybe she hoped her other question was going to be selected. It was probably a hit job on President Bush. What about the rest of the questions? I would like to know what they were. Are there any plans to reveal them?
Surely you aren't thinking the 'rats would infiltrate the "town hall"? Next thing you know, you'll be saying Kerry lied! (/sarcasm)
Seriously, I think there were some stories yesterday about 'rats bragging that they would pack the town hall with liberals, and I think they might have succeeded. Certainly, that last question seemed to suggest that.
Too fast for me. At least we are of the same mindset on this subject.
Same goes for the Enviromental question guy, he looked like he wanted to punch out the President.
who cares the questions were balanced and the initial question was a zinger against Kerry
Must be just you...I thought the girl was just kind of flushed with the moment. The question obviously did not favor John Kerry, and his response was "wishy Washy". I was really impressed with the fairness of the debate, and the caliber of the questions.
Yes, but without that tree hugger we would not have had the best line of the night. (need some wood?) Thank you tree hugger. :)
Did anyone notice the woman in the olive suit who sat in the upper portion of the stands directly behind Bush? She had an ugly face on her all night. She would scowl and roll her eyes every time Bush spoke!! My husband thinks she was planted to sit in that exact spot for that very reason...because you couldn't help but notice her.
Look at the bright side - at least Pony-Tailed Guy wasn't there this time. (I had an emesis bag close at hand in case he showed up).
They were "SELF-DESCRIBED" as undecided. What does that tell you?
Actually, at the end of the debate the guy with the environmental question was grinning at Bush and seemed quite happy to be in his sphere.
