Tiny Arcata says impeach Bush
ARCATA, Calif. In a decision sure to resonate for at least a couple of miles, the Arcata city council has passed a resolution calling for President Bush to be impeached.
The tiny coastal hamlet took a vote of council members late Wednesday and passed the resolution three-to-none.
The council says Bush violated numerous international laws in waging war against Afghanistan and Iraq.
The resolution states in part that Arcata should be seen as an example for other cities looking to rebuff -- quote -- the imperial goals of power-crazed leaders.
The city tried to pass a similar resolution calling for the impeachment of Bush and vice president Dick Cheney last year, but failed.
Anyone know their email?
Must be.... i wonder if the irs knows of their additional stream of income..... and if they have reported well ..... smile....
Must all be French immigrants down there.
The town is run by, and infested with, communists.
The only industries are government, health food stores and lunacy.
This is such commie pinko bs. I bet they had a "vote for peace" when the war in iraq was started.
How about impeaching Clinton over the idiotic Kosovo War???
Typical boneheads. And if they are reelected, will the secede from the union? Send (R)nold over there to do a recall election.
Is this a city council meeting?
Guess they didn't pass the Global Test...;)
"The resolution says Bush violated numerous international laws "
Ya see. There's a reason we broke away from Europe and became and independent nation.
So we could make and follow our OWN LAWS!
If tiny Arcata wants to follow Internation law, that's fine.
Just don't expect the rest of INDEPENDENT Americans to follow in their footsteps!
Maybe, with a little help from San Andreas.
Actually, the 3 to 1 (total 4) vote WAS the entire city population!!
If one takes a Global Test, would that make him a world class testee?
The 1 nay vote was the dog.
What is it in the water on the left coast?
