What a lying sack of human debris. We are cutting down forces...not thinking of drafting. The thing is...he KNOWS he's lying. Too bad people are too blind to see it.

Horse hockey! Charlie Rangel (a DEMOCRAT) brought up the bill, and it FAILED in the House 402-2. Even Rangel voted against it. Only two DEMOCRATS voted for it!

Shut up, McAuliffe, you LOW LIFE SCUM LOSER !!

If we are forced into another righteous cause of self-protection, more young men and women will volunteer. It's the American way, and I trust them to do that.

He added: "I'm not trying to do this to scare young people, but they've got to understand this is a possibility in this country."

This is NOT a credible statement. He's lying through his crooked teeth.

"...but don't think for one second that if George Bush gets re-elected and we have another conflict in some other theater of the world, we're going to have to reinstitute the draft,"

pruned of all needless words, the statement shows that McAwful is an idiot.

He meant to say that we WOULD have to reinstate the draft, but his wording conveys the diametrical opposite denotation.

What a moron - an exemplar of the party so fond of calling Bush inarticulate and stupid.

I'm not trying to do this to scare young people ...

Didn't anyone tell McAuliffe that you can go to hell for lying?

It's the old Nazi propaganda trick -- if you tell a lie often enough, people will eventually believe it.

This lie will be repeated and repeated.

The Roman Empire had to virtually kidnap individuals and indenture them for military service, for a period of 20 years. Seeing no options, most of those drafted looked forward to death on the battlefield as their only way out, and while the legions were fierce warriors, they also were somewhat fatalistic. Desertion was punishable by immediate death, carried out by the first soldier to capture the deserter.

Over the centuries, it has been proven again and again, volunteers with the necessary skills and dedication were vastly more effectual than barely trained recruits who had been inducted into service under threat of even more severe punishment for failure to report for duty.

Most of the young people who are in fear of the draft wouldn't be ABLE to become an effectual soldier, sailor, Marine or airman in today's uniformed services. They need not worry about the draft, it is too much trouble for the other members of the team to have to stumble around their cowering bodies curled up in the fetal position.

President George W. Bush will not introduce conscription to fill the ranks of military specialists. A President John Kerry would have to rely on the draft. Which is it - vote for Bush and never be subject to a draft, or vote for Kerry, and almost certainly be drafted sometime in the next four years?

Using McAwful's logic, a Kerry administration would be MUCH more likely to institute a draft:

His mouth is open and moving.

What a lying piece of sh!t King Rat Terry McAwful is.

You know that he didn't bother to tell these dumbass college kids who would fall for such lies about Kerry's plan to REQUIRE volunteer service from all high school students as a graduation requirement. Unpaid service is so much better, right Terry?

I wonder if DNC sponsored knock and drag/get out the vote efforts count.

All macawful wants to do is keep the BS going. Alot of those people on college campuses are not wanted or needed in todays all volunter military because they could not or wouldnot pack their own gear. Thats why the people that are there are the BEST of the BEST. If that upsets people it can but it is the truth and that is a problem for some people.

Here's another way to look at it.

If Kerry is elected, you will see a mass-exodus of folks out of the military. They will not serve under Kerry.

They will leave through attrition and early-outs. No one is going to re-up under Kerry.

The DEMS, particularly Rep. Charles Rangel (D-NY) and Senator Fritz Hollins (D-SC), who introduced legislation to reinstate the military draft for young men may just have to reinstate the draft after all the GI's flee the service.

Well, McAuliffe doesn't think much of the American young people does he? Has he determined no young person, if we were attacked by a foreign power or cataclysmic Terrorist attack, would have any desire to SIGN UP and defend their country? American men (and now women) have been good to defend their country in time of war. As usual, appealing to the lowest common denominator of the populace.

I guess the little fanatic has been reduced to reading George Bush's mind.

McAuliff's propaganda is about as intelligent as the rest of his degenerate party.
