I'm sorry. The article was not well-written and I didn't understand the point.

Let me know when you quit watching "network spin" and formulate your own opinion.

Actually, I don't watch news on TV in general, rarely catching a program or two. But if you want to make more assumptions about me, personally, go ahead, it just undermines your point and strengthens mine by default.

No, you obviously didn't read it.
David Horowitz wrote it, it is very clear, and if you are having difficulty, then go directly to Front Page Magazine and start from scratch.

It was written by a JB Williams. Here's an idea. Why don't you make the point yourself in simple declarative sentences?

Let me know when you REALLY understand what we are up against Nov 2

Then you'll REALLY understand why your point makes no sense at all.

A documentary about Kerrys' past activities is not a "personal attack", and while you may not consider his past activities to be relevant, many others do. The American public has a right to know what type of person John Kerry is, and Sinclair is doing a public service by airing ths documentary.

"What if someone wants to play a documentary about President Bush's drinking days? Is that ok also?"

Bush hasn't made his getting drunk a major part of his campaign.

I've contacted WEMT Fox 39 (a Sinclair-owned station) to ask them if they will be airing STOLEN HONOR and if so, when.

I know that Tennessee has recently become a swing state (for reasons I cannot begin to imagine) so perhaps there's a chance we'll get it here...

So we are opposed to Michael Moron's film being shown on the eve of the election, but we are okay with this? That's hypocrisy, freepers. It's the same thing as discounting the validity of polls when they are pro-Kerry and cheering for their results when they favor Bush.

The "other side" would claim that the "Honor" program is a bunch of lies and Moron's film is the truth, so that arguement doesn't work very well.

I wrote FOX 39 (our Sinclair station) and got this response:

It will air 10/22 at 9p. Thanks for writing!

The Kerry campaign blasted Sinclair for what it says is strongarming its stations into broadcasting lies to influence the political process..

1. Kerry Campaign purports to be incensed that Sinclair do what it likes with its own property.

2. Every time Kerry Campaign shouts "lie!", it is *l;ying* itself. 100% of the time so far.

"The first rule of propaganda is to accuse your enemy of doing exactly what you yourself are doing."

Moore is more than welcome to put his movie on primetime TV and he has said that he would like to see it happen before the election. The only thing stopping him is that he would like to capture more ("greedy capitalist profits" - lol from the release on DVD before he show it on TV) Even Moore should have that right if some station wants to air it. Even though it contains lies and distortions. It is good to finally have an oposing view make it on primetime. Please protect free speech. Opponents to this cry over the Reagan film and ask why that was shut down from being on primetime. It is thanks to the free speech of all those who wrote in to tell the broadcasters that we won't support it. It is ok for them to make a film about Ronald Reagan, but we won't support them rewriting who Reagan was to those who never knew him. Notice how no conservatives petitioned the FCC over this. We directed the focus where it rightfully should be, to the broadcasting company in charge and told them how we felt. It is only the liberals of today's world who would infringe on free speech by trying to use the FCC and FEC to shut down a film or a book with opinions and facts that they don't find convenient to their cause. Please, keep America's speech free. Even if it means the Mr. Moore will someday show his crockumentary on primetime (which will happen anyway).
