I saw full closeup footage from the front on FOX. It *was* a pen.Bush had a pen in his front and a small box in has back? Geeze, things are getting complicated.

Well, at least he didn't put a package in his "package" the way Gore did when he was wearing those skin-tight "re-invent-himself-brand" blue jeans back in the 2000 campaign.

I'm telling ya, the back/side thing that showed up was prolly a reflection, which would have shown up on film as white. From the front, the thing was narrow & black.
I can't get the file from "Brit Hume's Grapevine" to work on my computer, so I don't know if it's working. You try it:

the back looks like he was maybe wearing suspenders... (bullet proof vest?)...
To: Cobra64
No doubt about that. However, the pattern on back of his coat in the photo I saw appeared to be about 3"x4".
I understand they make executive body armor vests, jackets/coats and even ties. And they are quite stylish. But I still don't know what would cause such a small rectangle pattern.

If Bush was wired, he wouldn't need some big, bulky pack that would be visible under a suit jacket Right. These people are so pathetic.

maybe it was a shoulder holster!
To: Cobra64
Er, I think Bush might have had a pen in his hand, but I was talking about the thing Kerry pulled outta his pocket. In another thread, I stated my position on the poor cut of Bush's suit, that created the stupid bump that's causing all of the furor. LOL

Were did you read that? It's just as dishonest for our side to lie. Nothing dishonest about messing with their heads.
How about a loop of wire peeking out over the shirt collar next time?

The only thing wired at that debate was T-Rex's hair.

Back from my kidhood, I know for a fact that communicators looked like pens, cuz that's what they always used on "The Man From U.N.C.L.E.". So there!! ;o)

I don't know that I saw Bush actualy leave the stage. I think he tapped his lapel pin and dematerailzed. ;)

You & I are talking at cross purposes, cuz I responded about the Kerry pocket item.
I think W was prolly wearing a protective vest, which increased his bulk, which can account for the kind of misfit & bubble on his back that showed up in the footage of the event.

sKerry pulls out either a cheat sheet or a PDA, and the media dutifully does his bidding and says it was a pen. And I'm mainly pissed at Fox News for going over to the left on this one. It was a pen.b Even LGF's, which initially pushed this and the Rathergate affair, said it was a pen.

"Well, can you clear this up for us all? We are waiting for your sage advice with baited breath."
Clearly you do need some guidance. Let me make this clear Bush was NOT wearing a bullet proof vest and he was not wired. You can indulge in all types your usual nonsense at this website.

Do you suppose john fraudulent kerry's slim black pen could have been electronic??? In the same vein as the demonrats rant, maybe it had a marquee display similar to abc's Times Square that scrolled the answers to him. After all, the super rich have access to state-of-the-art technologies not available to the President of the United States.
