Bush-Cheney '04 Launches New Television Advertisement, "World View"

ARLINGTON, VA -- Today, Bush-Cheney '04 announced the release of the campaign's newest television advertisement, "World View." John Kerry first said defeating terrorism was more about law enforcement than a strong military operation and now compares terrorists to a "nuisance" like gambling and prostitution. The ad asks how Kerry can protect us when he does not understand the threat we face.

The ad will run on national cable and on the Bush-Cheney '04 website. Satellite downlink coordinates for "World View" will be released later.

Script For "World View"

Voice Over: First, Kerry said defeating terrorism was really MORE about law enforcement and intelligence than a strong military operation...

More about law enforcement than a strong military?

Now Kerry says... We have to get back to the place where terrorists are a nuisance like gambling and prostitution... we're never going to end them.

Terrorism... a nuisance?

How can Kerry protect us when he doesn't understand the threat?

President Bush: I'm George W. Bush and I approve this message.

In John Kerry's global mind, terrorists were a nuisance on September 10th.

Kerry wants to take us back to the policies and mindset of the '90's that GAVE us 9/11 !! That moron really doesn't understand the threat.

Kerry wants us to believe he'll win the war in Iraq although he doesn't believe it's a valid war. He wants us to believe he'll win the war on terror by declaring it a "law enforcement" issue. He wants us to win the war on terror by having us stick our heads back in our bottoms and pretend that terrorists can actually ever become a "nuicance" a la prostitutes and illegal gamblers.

Prostitutes don't fly planes into buildings, John. They don't hijack schools and shoot children in the back, John. They don't cut off people's heads, John.

What part of all this DON'T YOU GET YOU MORON!

yes. I think the ad misstates its case. Kerry didn't say terrorism is a nuisance now, and that will be his explanation. But his quotes do clearly indicate his desire to go back to 9/10 so we can then start labeling terrorism as a nuisance and ignore the problem again. He isn't willing to pursue a long term solution via installing liberty in the part of the world where most of the terrorists are bred. He just wants to win a short term military victory when necessary then go back to the law enforcement model. He won't maintain a war effort.
