[snip]
YOU'VE LEANED MORE CONSERVATIVE OVER THE PAST FEW YEARS, YET YOU'VE TURNED AGAINST THIS ADMINISTRATION. WHY? I think it begins with the President. I think he's probably a decent guy, but he's in way over his head. I think he got gun-shy as a result of that heisting of the election in 2000. I don't think he ever even thought of himself as a legitimate President. And rather than try to govern by some sort of consensus or at least involve some other points of view, he's tried to make up for it by this arrogant conduct of foreign policy. By the way, it's not like I think Senator Kerry would be much better.
WHO'S GOING TO WIN THE ELECTION? Bush. I'm not going to vote for him, but I think he connects better with the American people, and I think the Administration has scared people to death. And I think people resent having John Fogerty and Jon Bon Jovi tell them who to vote for.
YOU RECENTLY HAD BUSH'S FATHER, THE 41ST PRESIDENT, ON YOUR SHOW. YOU SAY HE LOVES YOU EVEN THOUGH YOU'RE NOT SUPPORTING HIS SON? I asked him that yeah, he does. He's enormously bright. This really sounds gratuitous, but my favorite person to talk to is Andy Rooney. He's 85 years old, but he's lucid and bright and amusing and clever. I mean, there are these kinds of people. And I really feel the same about 41.

Imus is that rarest of all creatures, he's just as stupid as he looks.
Imus is a surly drunk.
And why is Imus relevant at all?
I've only heard him a couple of times. He seemed hung over and mush-mouthed. Couldn't understand much of what he was saying.
He's so off base here. Bush jr. made the toughest, gutsiest decision imaginable. 95% of conservatives in the same situation wouldn't have made it because of the risk. I feel better knowing there is a guy in charge who can make a tough decision despite the political risk.
You have all forgotten that Imus has a very young and attractive, LIBERAL Wife.
So - why should anyone here care what this guy says or thinks - he sounds like old talking points
I never listen to him and find him a worthless source of information. He is a rich, nasty, pompous, boor.
Beautiful. If Charles had written that line, or Bernie maybe, I can just imagine "the I-Man using it himself."
He likes andy rooney and says kerry wouldn't be "much" better....
BWAHAHA! Nothing more than a closet commie trying to make money off the current conservative talk show craze...and having it both ways.
an intellectual prostitute
Does anyone really care what an aged 1960s has-been thinks?
Imus looks like a reject from a scarecrow factory in that stupid cowboy hat he wears everyday.
Well, it seems to me that if he's "connecting" with the American people, he IS governing by "consensus" ... and by the only consensus that matters.
But the fact that he finds Andy Rooney anything but a bitter old commie fool tells me that he has no judge of character anyway.
If Bush doesn't win the election, aged 1960's has-beens will be crawling out of the woodwork.
I'm curious what you think?
I feel sorry for those who still watch the MSM (including FOX) in the morning. The man is a genius. The only alternative for me is C-SPAN's Washington Journal.
I think they're crawling out of the woodwork NOW.
And I didn't know that Imus married Ann Coulter! Ann and his wife look like they could be sisters.
Howard Stern without the wit, and even more pretentious. How many times can one laugh at "You jerk!" in one morning?
Actually ex-drunk ... the worst kind!
In that picture he looks like he's just bitten her ear off and is chewing it, and the pain hasn't quite registered with her yet.
