According to my parents, who live in a largely Jewish community in Boca Raton (the buckle of the Palm Beach "Bagel Belt"), their neighbors are overwhelmingly voting for Kerry.

Contrary to what many deluded fools here think, secular Jews (and in South Florida, the population is elderly and VERY secular) put domestic liberal issues way ahead of Israel in terms of their voting priorities. That's the way it is.

They will vote the same as always. It is too bad their eyes can't be opened. They had a similar problem and wondered the wilderness for 40 years.

And the rabbis have told them that they must go and vote for Bush...
