N-arms Pakistan has 50-90, India 55-115

John Kerry has said that nuclear proliferation is his number one concern, as has President Bush. My question for both is, what are we as a country willing to do about it? If India and Pakistan can build this number of nuclear weapons in such a relatively short amount of time, what does this mean for North Korea (which already has nuclear capability) and Iran (which is using the North Korean model of deceit and deception to advance it's nuclear weapons program)? It will do little good to pay billions to secure the nuclear material in the former Soviet Union if the 'new' nuclear players are busily making more nuclear material. It will soon be analagous to putting one's finger in a leaking dike, and once the pressure is too great, the dam will surely burst and these weapons will get into the wrong hands and be used. At the risk of sounding like chicken little, but the mushroom cloud I see in my worst nightmares seems to be getting closer to being realized every day. Appeasing rogue regimes like the North Koreans, and negotiating endlessly with the Iranians while the cheat and deceive the west will garner us nothing but two more nuclear 'powers' who will threaten our very existence. How can the Russians not see this, and stop their corrupt scientists from building the reactor for the Iranians? After Beslan, how can they not realize the next attack may very well be a nuclear bomb from Iran planted on the streets of moscow? How can our administration not realize that our gravest threat now lies with Iran and North Korea? How can John Kerry possibly think that 'alliances' and 'unilateral negotiations' with tyrants like Kim Jong Il hold absolutely no chance of success? How can the MSM ignore this threat? Why do I have to read Pakistani newspapers to find out what is going on about this issue?

"How can the MSM ignore this threat? "
=======
Easy. Supporting their disasterous candidate is far more important right now...and, afterall, they feel that once he is elected, utopia will prevail and nuclear rogue countries will just become a simple "nusance"....

Kerry's solution is to disarm. He is more concerned with us adding nuclear bunker buster bombs. Bush, however, has moved to create a missile defense shield. Even if it is not a perfect solution, it may help deter the threat (in addition to having enough nukes to wipe out all of our enemies simultaneously).

We have to get back to the place we were,
where liberals are not the focus of our lives,
but they're a nuisance.
