I would estimate those at about 10-15% of the population - the part of the population which thinks for themselves (able to think critically) emigrated to English-speaking countries a long time ago... The percentages are higher in Eastern Europe (Poland, Hungary) because they are still smarting from recent Communist history.
Let there be NO apathy this year! The courts now rule and the lawyers are the barons, dukes, and duchesses of the new feudal system. If Kerry/Edwards should be elected, the control of the federal judiciary will belong to these statists, the control of more aspects of our lives will be taken and shaped in ways we won't like. We MUST rally behind the president.

But I also realize that if Bush is reelected, in 2008 we will have the first presidential election since 1952 in which neither an encumbent president nor his vice-president is running for the office of the president. This is huge. Talk about an all-out no-holds-barred slug fest. We ain't seen nuthin' yet, if GWB is elected in November. It is my sincere hope he is, but it is my even greater hope that the Republicans nominate somebody who will simply blow Hillary out of the water in 2008. Cuz that's what it's gonna take.
