I can't figure out why Bush hasn't used this against the Kerry campaign. I took my parents out to dinner over the weekend. They support Bush, but didn't really have anything against Kerry. When I told them about Edwards' amazing ability to channel the spirits of disabled children, they were very angry. My dad was wondering why we haven't seen this in the news. I would think calling attention to this would really help the Bush campaign.

Who's going to do it? Not the mainstream media. We do need a direct hit on this personal injury attorney and his history as a lawyer. And the lack of his history as a politician.

Yes, people would be turned off to this if they only had access to the truth, but most people in this country do not.

That's a fairly tough item for the President to handle in our soundbite culture. It would be very easy for the K/E camp to retort, "Edwards was speaking metaphorically. Bush is attacking the defender of children..." etc., ad nauseum.
It would require educating American about what he's referring to, so it would lose its punch.

What a scumbag, though. Just bizarre snakeoil crap like this is enough reason to keep him out of the Veep seat, a heartbeat from the Oval Office. And they have the nerve to hound VP Cheney about his business affiliations?
