I don't know...I think the President is doing awesome. He took Kerry apart the other night.

The jerk, Mike, on CBS just said that nothing happened tonight that would change the poll number. That Obama's 68% would remain the same.

Yup. Alan has three debates or 4 hours to reach the voters. That's it. But that's more than he's ever been given. It's a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, and you were there. Enjoy it friend 8-)

Not unless Obama makes an enormous blunder in the remaining debates. The two televised debates are scheduled just a week before the election. There's no time to build on Alan's success.

Of course, I'm praying for a miracle.

I hope Alan learned one thing from this debate which is that he is going to have to bring up the abortion issue in response to an unrelated question from the media. The journalists asking the questions won't bring up the issue unless they can be sure to preempt the discussion, as they did last night.

We are doing all that is within our power. The rest is up to the Lord, and to the people of Illinois.

No matter the outcome, I can live with that...and I know that Alan feels exactly the same way.
