Anti-Kerry Film Causes Stir

NEW YORK — Sen. John Kerry's presidential campaign blasted a decision by the Sinclair Broadcast Group (search) to air a documentary on Kerry's anti-Vietnam War activism, but a Sinclair official vowed to move forward Tuesday.

The flap is over a one-hour program — "Stolen Honor: Wounds That Never Heal (search)" — featuring former prisoners of war accusing Kerry, a decorated veteran who took up the anti-war cause upon returning from Vietnam, of prolonging the war and worsening their plight.

"If anybody has earned the right to speak about their experiences in Vietnam, it's these men," Sinclair Vice President Mark Hyman (search) told FOX News. "They suffered unspeakable horrors. They earned the right to be heard."

The program likely will be broadcast between Oct. 21 and Oct. 24, depending on the city. According to Sinclair's Web site, the company has some connection to 62 stations from all the broadcast networks — FOX, ABC, NBC, CBS, UPN and the WB — in 39 markets and reaches 24 percent of U.S. television households.

Yeah the Kerry Campaign and the libs are beside themselves. No one heard a peep from them when the target of their wrath was President Bush. What a bunch of hypocrites!

Exactly .. if the dems had watched PBS tonight .. they could have seen a BUSH HIT PIECE .. pretending to be an Election 2004 story.

Let 'em scream all they want about Stolen Valor .. they have nothing to scream about. Tell them to sit down and shut the heck up!!

Would that be Mark Hyman? Yeah, the guy has no problem airing nutty liberal rants directed at him every week too. He's a riot, showing them for what they are by their own words. It took a lot of courage to air his editorial every night to begin with on mainstream networks--I'm sure he's had a backlash. I know when I first saw the editorial I thought, how refreshing to see this amidst my local news coverage. His delivery is usually dry on his editorial, but he takes the time to back up his position with cold, hard facts--I'm sure the libs absolutely despise him--I know the ones on my hobby list can't stand him--gives me a chuckle when I see them complain(btw, complaining and violating the policy of the group against political discussions--libs break the rule everytime with some snide little jab throughout what should be a site dedicated to a hobby--as a side rant one went so far as to show her support for a certain liberal horse faced candidate by putting a picture up of herself and her mother at a rally for said candidate trying to be cute by saying do you like this pic of my mom and I--I'm thinking of taking one with my Bush clearing the brush picture in the background and doing the same;-).
