There is a different Talking Points memo on the Fox News O'Reilly website for October 13.

" She still went back to work for him. "

Sorry but after readin the smoking gun article I have to say this broad was a trojan horse sent back to Fox by CNN punks to set up O'Reilly. And I'm a woman who's always in defense of Womens rights!

I've been in plenty of situations where former male bosses and male co-workers wanted to get it on with me (men, they'd do a snake if someone held it's mouth open) and it was always easy to hint to them without insulting their ego or jeopardizing my job that I was not interested. This Andrea chick could've hung up the phone any time. This smells of demoRAT sh*T all over it.

When I read Paragraph 35 of the Complaint, which I posted above, I could very easily see O'Reilly saying those things. If he comes close to saying these types of comments on the air - which, IMO, he does - then it is no big leap to him saying them in private.

p.s. According to the Complaint, she was making only $56k per. I would have assumed an associate producer would be pulling down $150k at a minimum. How can you live in NY on $56k per?

Looks like O'Blowhard has been watching out for Johnson.

LOL. Good one!

I don't think this exchange of lawsuits and charges harms conservative causes in the least. At worst it's a distraction focused on a media entertainer.

Losing O'Reilly would be like the space left when one's hand leaves a bucket of water. There are other entertainers that could host a similar program, might even help Fox's ratings depending on who fills the slot.

.....O'Reilly is toast as a serious pundit.

And has been for a long time IMHO.

What, possibly, did this woman have to gain from suing O'Reilly if she doesn't have tapes???

A settlement/extortion?

Or, are there bigger issues here. The bringing down of FOX, passionate conservatism and Bush?

The timing is suspicious.

My question is this: Is this why John Kerry has not appeared on the Factor. Maybe he knew something was going to happen to O'Reilly. And he knew that he didn't need to be on.

I doubt it. I figure Kerry only accepts tightly controlled Q&A sessions, and he wasn't confident that an appearance on O'Reilly would help him. There isn't much downside, if any, in not appearing.

Maybe not. But this lawyer sure wants it to hurt us.

"I have always felt that O'Rielly seemed to think that Pornography was OK. He's always been very flipant about that subject, in general"

Of course he is okay with porn, he's a self admitted Independant and even admitted that porn in the privacy of ones home is okay with him. I am against porn but I don't think it warrants Fox and O'Reilly being set up for extortion to the tune of $60 million dollars. The people sueing are SO TRANSPARENT, AS IS THIS CASE. It's timing, it's target, it stinks.

I simply said, "read the thing." That's hardly an order.

Of course she considered a job w/him when he approached her while at CNN - she's a young woman trying to develop a career as a producer in national news. There aren't an infinite number of opportunities in that environment. If what she says is true, she kept her end of it on the up and up - he didn't.

Again, if what she says is true, what was she supposed to do? One of the most powerful men in national news is calling her and getting off while on the phone call. Is she really just supposed to hang up on him and expect to ever work again? Hello?

Her actions might not have been your actions or mine, but I can sure understand them (again, if what she says is true.)

"I KNEW there was a loofa-Franken (and Fox!) connection. Check this review snippet of Franken's book Lies..etc"

Folks, I present to you the Official Bill O'Reilly Theme:

"A loofa, Jamaica, ooo I wanna take you
Bermuda, Bahama, come on pretty mama
Key Largo, Montego, baby why don't we go"

Thanks for your comment about men. How pleasant. How thoughtful. How unthinking and ugly.

"I want to know why, if it disgusted her so much as she claimed, why she spent extended periods of time on the phone with him multiple times?"

She was probably doing the same thing but because she is the sue-er and he is the seu-ee she gets a pass.

Nope. John "Irish" Kerry hasn't held a news conference in a long time and only does interviews where he knows he will be treated like royalty. Kerry has/had nothing to gain by going on O'Reilly.

If it was Dan Blather instead of O'Reilly, then yes, her career would be over.

She will be another heroine of the Left/ala/Anita Hill.
