Exactly. Like Blow'Reilly or not, this thing stinks bigtime. She's the "maid with the cigar box full or drugs" in this new anti-New Media scenario.
I do agree that he is for going after terrorists. But listen to some of the solutions he proposes for whatever the problem de jour is. He is a proponent of bigger government, in general.
He did rave on and on regarding "no WMD found," but again, I agree with you that he hasn't been doing so for several weeks, at least.
As for the left ranting against O'Reilly, and attempting to tar FoxNews with this story, I just don't sense this issue as presenting a risk of harm to conservative causes. The left is always trying to shut down or shout down honest dialogue that is against the advancement of socialist/liberal programs. THey make false allegations and connections all the time.
O'Reilly's fate is tied to his ratings, pure and simple.
I hope he gave name and town...name and town!

If the woman has tape, and currently there is NO reason to believe that she does. Have minds suddenly forgotten that some people are pure evil? What does this woman risk by filing this suit? NOTHING. What's a job with O'Reilly, compared to becoming the darling of the Liberal Media? She is in a win-win situation whether she is lying or not.
O'Reilly should be thanking Bill Clinton, that people care a lot less about this kind of talk then they might have otherwise. O'Reilly will be just fine, whether the claim is true or untrue.
I don't like O'Reilly, but his politics should not matter in a case like this. It would be nice if we could all just wait and see?

If she has him on tape....which it looks like she does....he is in BIG trouble.
If it is a fraud on her part, he will be vindicated completely.

A few have read it and agree with your summary. However, I believe this is bigger than O'Reilly. Did you read the part where they link FOX, O'Reilly, Bush and Compassionate Conservatives? This is done to make a hit on all of the above at once and, coincidentally, just a couple of weeks before the election.
I did read it....and there are parts just typed and parts in quotations. I think she was wired after returning from CNN.
I don't know if the name Ted Turner is floating around, but everything I've heard about this story conjures up Anita Hill and Clarence THomas---an extraordinary confluence of details. Can't wait to hear more....
