Here it is. I'm watching Hardball at the moment. Nicolle Devenish is doing a good job speaking for Bush, as always

But wouldn't the alcohol help dull the dental pain?

Please, a plea....let's be strong and not give into fear - it doesn't matter what happens in the debate. That is democrat spin - the media is demoralizing a lot of people here and so the media is winning - don''t let them.

Mega dittos, FRiend!

I just want the President to relax and be in command. Every success will flow from that.

we need three threads, one for the optimists, one for the worrywarts and one for the undecided!

i think it serves our purpose to be objective. If we tell ourselves Bush did great when he did not- such as in the first debate- then we kid ourselves into complacency.

Bush is not doing well overall- this race was pretty much wrapped up before the debates and now it is all in play again. WI was up by 8, now it's 4--ohio was Rep now it's in play. The effects of the debates are obvious.

Everyone needs to get off their kneepads and get real. Bush needs a decisive victory tonight and we need to be objective. Our job gets more difficult if he doesn't pull it out.

My prayer for Pres. Bush is simple: I pray for wisdom and understanding. With those two blessings, he can overcome anything!

Good idea. Can you point me toward the optimists?!

The second debate I watched the whole debate instead of following it on-line.

I mised the first debate thread but caught the second... It was well worth it.

Its been a great week for my alma mater, we move up to #15 in the polls and play the #1 team in the nation, one of our professors gets the Nobel Prize in Economics, and we host the debate. Good job ASU!

O Lord,
You who hold the world
in the palm of your hand,
who paid such a price
in agonizing love
in blood
in pain
to show us the way
to live,
to walk,
to care,
Be with your servant George this night,
brighten his eye with the touch of your Spirit,
strengthen his heart with the fire of your love,
fill his mouth
with the words you would have him speak,
and may each word,
action,
gesture
thought
be under your control,
under your watch
under your care.

Thank you Lord,
for giving us a leader who loves you,
who understands the truth of godliness
who cares that his actions, words and deeds
are more than chess pieces
in some power game
to please the ego.

I plead your blood to keep him whole,
your fire to strengthen him,
your love to guide him
this day,
and all the days he walks this earth,
Amen.

We're all gonna be looped before the thing is half over if that's the word, specially if we have to do those shots for every time he does that snake thing with his tongue.

Agree. We've reached the point where it's time to mute all talking heads. (Except FR!)

OOPS - I see what you mean - when the nerves go, so does the spelling sorry guys.

Heard Dan Bartlett on Hannity today and he reassured Sean that Bush was ready for all of the crap that Kerry will throw at him. I think he gained confidence last debate and has fun talking back to Kerry -- maybe he will take him down and step on his neck!
