Already the pundits are giving Bush high marks.
I think the last question told the story. Bush talks about the love he has for his wife... Kerry talks not of "love at first sight" but that he had "married up."
And then he brings up his mother...
Bush won hands down.......

If John Heinz-Kerry wants to bring mothers into the picture, I mean how can you get any better than Barbara Bush?
And then he brings up his mother...
I was literally cringing in my seat while Kerry gave his response. Talk about the worst possible answer to that question, ESPECIALLY in light of how genuine and charming Bush's was.
I loved it when Kerry brought up his mother.
'Her last words to me were, Integrity, Integrity, Integrity!'
I guess, Senator, that she figured it was a lesson you hadn't learned yet...
Yup. Tereza had more bucks. Laura had more books.
Anyway, what struck me was that the author said that in August 2002, john Kerry would interrupt conversations to answer his cell phone, because it was John Kerry's sister calling about his mother's health. She was on her death bed, and anyone of the calls could have been to tell him that his mother died while he was out campaigning. That didn't come up tonight when Mr. Kerry was talking about his mother during the last question.
I guess everybody has priorities. I don't think I share many with John Kerry.
Dubya talked about how he met Laura and how it was love at first site.
Kerry responded by doing his best to avoid talking about Ter-ey-za!!!
LMAO
Anybody else tear up when he was talking about his love for Laura?
