Regretfully, I disagree.

I'm voting for Bush, but I thought he lost the debate, as much as I hate to admit it.

I was disappointed he side-stepped the Roe v. Wade question. Very disappointed. He should have explained a PB abortion in detail, to really bring the point home. He's terrible at elaborating in detail.

I know he's not a good debater, but he missed alot of opportunities. In 3 debates he didn't mention the 5.4% unemployment rate once.

I will say that I am glad that others think he did well.

He's a good man and he had a great finish, but I thought he was much better in the 2nd Debate. He definitely won that one.

IMHO

You've got to be kidding.
What did Kerry say that impressed you so much?

I respectfully disagree. Bush's comments were artfully directed to the base and conservative-leaning swing voters in the key states. He painted Jacka$$FK as a liberal in several planes and the moron almost peed himself trying to extemporaneously rebut with detailed factual presentations. Most of what he said came out as gobbledigook. Anyone wavering from Bush is now firmly back home. Anyone swing voter just tuning in will like Bush.

We great unwashed out here all KNOW what a partial birth abortion is! With the time limits (and it seemed like Kerry got a break in the time frames) he did an excellent job of getting in what he needed to. Of course, Bush won. .
good grief. Everything that possibly needed to be mentioned had to fit in the time limitations, and it's easier to Monday morning quarterback than to actually have to do it.

I respect your opinion, but totally disagree.

I was happy with the second debate, but tonight I was EXCITED.

Bush won it hands down.

IMHO

Kerry dominated debate #1, that is agreed, but for different reasons.

America was shocked to see such an articulate and knowledgable man who seemed so presidential.

Using the boxing system, I scored it a 19-4 Kerry win.

In debate #2, Kerry droned on in the same bombastic style, somewhat less energized and the President revved up the pace.

The President was in command and I scored it for the President 14-8.

Debate #3 tonight showed Kerry as the same old encyclopedia with a bad case of diahrea of the mouth.

He seemed like a wind-up toy that was winding down.

The President scored on being genuine and human.

I scored it for the President 10-7.

And the Cheney/Edwards match was a slaughter for Cheney.

He easily beat Edwards 22-2

The President looked alive. Kerry looked like The Lurch. Anyway, the fact of the matter is this was Kerry's turf and he looked like he was going through the motions. No conviction and certainly no passion to his views. Superior debater, my ass.

All I know is that the people I watched the debate with, were on their feet cheering at the end of the debate. Bush
"put his foot on Kerry's neck" early and never let up. His answers concerning his love for Laura and girls and explaining his faith brought many to tears. What a great man!
BTW, did you see Tereeeeza's face when Kerry talked about his mother....instead of her? Bet she slaps him upside the head again tonight!

I agree. That should have been shoved in sKERRY"S face. Also the fact that the Kerry's only pay 11.5 percent in taxes.

...I thought he lost the (3rd) debate, as much as I hate to admit it.

Just goes to show that perceptions are everything.

Bush was forceful in debate 2, and barely edged out Kerry.

But tonight, I saw Bush as pulverizing Kerry.

Kerry seemed defensive, especially on the abortion question while Bush literally soared, especially on the question of how his faith helps him cope with being President.

Kerry on the other hand seemed tired and way, way overprogramed. He said nothing new, no memorable statistics, while I think Bush actually put out some new statements, some new information that we haven't heard before.

Bush's explanation of his mission to stop activist judges from defining marriage I thought was brilliant and stopped Kerry in his tracks.

Kerry's use of Cheney's lesbian daughter was so crass that even hardened Democrats must've been hiding their heads in shame.

The only question I see where Kerry scored any points was on the overseas jobs, and how he would do everything, including ending tax incentives for companies, to keep jobs in America. Bush failed to give a good comeback, and therefor I have to concede a point for Kerry.

Even Fox talking heads, which gave the 2nd debate to Kerry slightly, said Bush creamed Kerry tonight in debate 3.
