These are not gaffes. It is psychological warfare calculated to intimidate their opponent and to assume a familiarity that is not theirs to assume. It is the same as the crassness of a loud drunk who only speaks increasingly louder and more offensive at a party. Each mention of a family member has moved further and further into the private circle of the opponent's family. It strikes me as calculated.Good assessment and I agree totally.

I know very well how to reach the
"Human Rightser" Campaign. I live in a "blue state" where they make the local news quite frequently.
However, I doubt if they want to hear from me. I am probably on their "enemies list", as an outspoken pro-Serbian opponent of the "human rights" movement as it exists today, and as a strong orthodox opponent of the gay/feminazi/"human rightser" putsch against the Lutheran, Episcopal, Reformed, and other churches!!!!
Human rights was once a very noble cause. However, since the early 1990s, it has become a tool in the hands of some very evil would-be world rulers, and their totally hypocritical pseudo-intellectual minions. Many others, who are still under the spell of the noble cause of "human rights", are their dupes.
The contemporary "human rightser" movement means mass murder, destruction of whole cultures and nations, a new excuse for antisemitism, scapgoating of the Serbian people, and above all massive persecution of Christians throughout the world!!!! The filthy and disgusting gaysbians and their "human rights" are a major tool in the hands of "human rightser" malefactors like George Soros. And Kerry is nothing more than a front-man for the "human rightser" movement!!!!

Actually he almost did when instead of talking about how he loved his wife, he made a joke about "marrying up". Such a contrast to President Bush, who almost teared up talking about his love for Laura.

For those who might be curious, "Moon Township" is the area around the Pittsburgh airport. Hotel row, and all that.
I live here in Moon, I wish I could have went to the rally but I did listen in to the cops on my police scanner as they came in. B-) Still though I felt I was there in spirit and will give Bush/Cheney all my support and try to convince others to do so. BTW, you a Pittsburgh area Freeper?
That was a cheap shot, either Franken-Skerry wants to alienate some of President Bush's support among the religious or to get the same who are undecided to say "vote for me." Despite the cheap shot, that ain't gonna work because if you are religious, you certainly ain't going to vote for Skerry unless you are one of the rubes who are "left-wing" Christians (or any other religion) who would vote for Franken-Skerry, well he got their votes anyhoo so what's the point. He should not have brought up Mary Cheney, heck, it wasn't a debate between Cheney/Kerry and even so, it was a low blow.

Did anyone notice how Bush wisely left it alone?
Good for him! I learned long ago not to try to out-play W at his own game, but sometimes I wish he would have turned around and said:
If YOU had talked to Dick Cheney's daughter, she would have said that YOU are a no-class, two-faced, lying, scum-sucking, hyperflatulent toad!

"Such a contrast to President Bush, who almost teared up talking about his love for Laura."You nailed the difference. The President genuinely loves Laura. Kerry genuinely loves Teh-ray-zaa's money (and himself).

http://www.cwfa.org/articles/468/CFI/cfreport/ (Mary Cheney joins a gay activist groupI didn't notice Kerry using any quotes from Mary Cheney about her lesbianism.
Kerry arrogantly put words in her mouth, to score points on worldwide TV.
I wonder what the French and Germans thought of Kerry using Mary Cheney as a foil to defend his pathetic record.
They might begin to wonder what kind of man he is.

KERRY'S intolerant and mean politcal statement about Cheney's daughter is one of the biggest debate foopahs in history.
It is this stupid statement that totally blew the debate for Kerry. It is this, and only this statement that will be remembered, and it ain't pretty for Kerry. He should apologize immediately. What a scum.

I was unaware of the Keyes remark. Slimy that they baited him (again bringing up a candidate's family member) and unfortunate that Keyes took the bait.

Perhaps after the election Dick Cheney can confront kerry the slimeball and knock his teeth out.
To: EagleUSA
Well, according to the Swift Boat Vets he is a liar and can't be trusted. He bashed the soldiers still in Vietnam accusing them of terrible, terrible things. Why would he stop at an innocent young woman living her life and minding her own business. He's dirt pure and simple. He can wear his fancy clothes...get his face all smoothed out, get his ORANGE tan, wear his Italian shoes, try to play football, windsurf, ski, snowboard, bike and all those assinine things he does to try to show the world he is a real man but underneath he is just a rich slimeball.
As Dubya said:"He can run but he can't hide." He stepped in it this time.

he "is not a good man" As good a summation as any. Actually, it isn't harsh enough for his egregious, insensitive, political LOW BLOW.

Mort was pissed on Fox and he is pretty calm. Even Crystal finally woke up. This political low blow cannot be understated.
To: Tom_Busch
I'm thinking it might go down as one of the big gaffes of Presidential debates period. Absolutely, positively no question about it. It will go down in history as the lowest of low blows ever in a Presidential debate. The MSM is ignoring it.....how predictible. History will never forget, or forgive.

No, the line was crossed during the VP debates with EdwardsYep, you're right. The two Johns certainly are familiar with the gutter.

I would really like to see Kerry called out on this one. I agree. I hope Cheney and his daughter do a joint press conference today slamming Kerry for this historical low blow.
To: Honorary Serb
I will probably make their "enemies list" then. lol!
I would be proud to join you there.

This could concievably become the "Kitty Dukakis Question" "There you go again" type debate moment. IF the clamor becomes loud enough that Kerry has to issue any type of a statement, and especially if he has to issue an apology, this election is over. I agree.
