I am starting to think this is going to be seen as the big gaffe of the debates.
Me too. I'm thinking it might go down as one of the big gaffes of Presidential debates period.
I am starting to think this is going to be seen as the big gaffe of the debates.
Edwards got a cold reception for his remarks at the VP debate with CPCheney thaning him for the kind words about his family, but Kerry didn't learn a thing from the negative impact..two strikes on the same pitch..
I think this is going to be viewed as a gaffe as well.
The MSM will downplay, as they have already admitted their goal is to call out Bush, and not Kerry.
It will be up to us.
This could very well be the huge mistake everyone was looking for from Kerry. His Dukakis moment!
It would be a big gaffe if the MSM would give it traction. Because they won't, it'll end up under the same rug as the documents in Sandy Berger's trousers and Jamie Gorelick's "wall" between FBI and CIA. Expect the NY Times to trumpet sKerry's debate sweep tomorrow.
Especially after Edwards got a mild hand-slap on this last week, one would think Kerry would have steered clear.
I think you're right. This could be the "Poland has never been under communist domination" of the 2004 debates.
Yo tambien.
Good point. And those gaffes are often the only thing people remember. Like Ford saying Poland was a free country, or Jimmy Carter saying he asked Amy what the number one problem in the world was and she said it was nuclear war.
