Win for Kerry

Posted: 10:35 p.m. ET From Paul Begala, CNN

Bottom line: Bush scored some points attacking Kerry on taxes. But he misspoke several times -- he misled us about Osama bin Laden and about Kerry's health plan. The post-debate fact checkers will have a field day with it.

Kerry cleaned Bush's clock on the basic kitchen table economic issues: jobs, health care, social security, minimum wage. I give the win to Kerry.

Bush won this one, hands down. I'm also the epitomy of fairness, as I conceded that Bush poorly performed in the first debate. Why is CNN already, in such short time, chalking this as a Kerry win?! Discuss

Begala and Carville are officially working for the Kerry campaign. Only CNN doesn't see this as a blatant conflict of interest.

When Bush wins the election CNN will be telling us that Kerry was the one who really won

The general consensus was that Kerry sponsored and passed no legislation during his 20 years in the Senate. Tonight when Bush stated this, Kerry came back and said that he passed 56 bills. Is that true?

If they are unable to pull of the vote fraud that they have been working on, then yes, they will indeed. But with the race within 1-2%, they have a good chance of that vote fraud working.

I think that Bush was dehydrated for the first debate. I heard someone say derisively that he drank from a glass that held no water. He had been outdoors in 90 degrees all day comforting hurricane victims. That wasn't very smart, but it was very compassionate.

What I expect is other than incredible bias from a news agency. Seems usually 90-10 proKerry bias.

What's disastrous is that CNN international is unopposed and has 24/7 hundreds of millions of viewers!

Everyone please try to phone CNN and badger them before another election fiasco of CNN international coverage like in 2000.

Please phone CNN.

It's CNN..that's the explanation.

I cannot wait to see Judy Woodruff choke on the words "President Bush" for 4 more years! Why she has a show is beyond me. Sometimes I think her prescriptions get switched.

According to my mom, she saw Frist calling this total BS. IIRC, Frist said he was "involved with" 5. Sounded like he did not write/was not a big sponsor of any.

He figures if, he says it with enough conviction, he'll even believe it.

But, I don't know why the mole thinks we'll believe it.

Win for Kerry

Posted: 10:35 p.m. ET From Paul Begala, CNN

That ought to be explanation enough. Even if Kerry's face melted off his head in the middle of the debate, they still wouldn't admit that Kerry lost this one. If they did, they might as well just throw in the towel right then and there. Suffice it to say, Begala isn't giving you an unbiased opinion here.

Bagdad Begala. It's been clear since the first debate that
the MSM was not going to take any chances to allow Bush to get anything positive going from these debates. So by and large they have parroted the wonders of skerry regardless of reality.

We know that Joe Lockhart and Mike McCurry were caught on CSpan after the first debate stating it was a draw, but later on TV they claimed that skerry mopped the floor with the President. The media is not our friend and they are not objective or truthful.

Most of the media is the tool of the Dems and the globalists, do not be lured by their spell. They will sing the siren song to snare the unsuspecting.
to dupe all the people that they can.

...this was just sent to me from the RNC under with an "alert" tag:

John Kerry's statement that he passed 56 bills during his 20 years in the senate is a complete and utter falsehood. Kerry passed five bills and Four resolutions.

For what it's worth, in my experience the RNC doesn't issue "urgent alerts" unless they can back them up. Surely more to come in the next few hours from them.

Anyone but me still waiting for Kerry to explain how on earth he can justify saying he voted for or supported tax cuts 600 times? Uh huh, and I am a supermodel.
