I disagree that voting in every election is important. Blindly voting without a firm grasp on the facts is wrong. Would you want a mechanic fixing your brakes that did not learn how to do perform the task? Well, I do not want people voting that can decide how much to tax me without thorough knowledge of the issue. Nor, do I want someone to have the power to influence regulation over my business or to determine policy regarding national security without a profound interest in the subjects.
I agree it is important to vote, but not to vote uninformed.
