(BTW, so much for the LA Times 'report' that Bush was going to delay the offensive against Falluja until after the election.)
I noticed that as well and immediately thought of it as"disinformation" Why not let the terrorists think they can relax until after the election while we prepare to launch a major assault.Brilliant!

Iraqi national security adviser Kasim Dawood said the government was preparing to "smash" the deeply entrenched insurgency in Falluja if city officials failed to turn in militants.
Time for the gov't (of Iraq) to offer a reward -- maybe $1000 a head. "Just throw 'em out, but write your name on 'em in ink, so we know whom to pay." ;')
