DENVER - Colorado's growing voter registration fraud crisis took a partisan turn Friday, less than three weeks before the Nov. 2 election.

Republican Party leaders asked Secretary of State Donetta Davidson to bypass Attorney General Ken Salazar, a Democratic U.S. Senate candidate, in investigating widespread charges of voter registration fraud in Colorado.

Davidson has been sending complaints from counties across the state about forged registration documents and other election improprieties to Salazar's office.

"The attorney general has an appearance of impropriety by virtue of his candidacy for the U.S. Senate," said Mike Norton, an attorney representing the Colorado Republican Party.

Norton, a U.S. Attorney in former President George H.W. Bush's administration, asked for a special prosecutor to be appointed or for the U.S. Department of Justice to take over the investigation of alleged illegal voter registrations.

But Davidson, also a Republican, declined, saying the Attorney General's Office has shown no partisanship and has been responsive to her requests for help.

"It would surprise you how much the attorney general has backed us," Davidson said....

Makes sense. The AG is clearly conflicted and can't be trusted. An independent party would be better suited to hear all claims.

Yeah, the DNC handbook advocates for pre-emptive strikes.

I'm aware of that. And when they are caught trying to commit fraud, action should be swift. JMHO

Let me get this straight- the AG is running on the ticket as a democrat for US Senate and is also the state official responsible for investigating vote fraud? Vote fraud which could heavily favor his own self interest?

And he hasn't the ethics to recuse himself? And anyone even thinks it is an issue that he is not in position to have the appearance of being fair and unbiased? Might as well have a judge take the case against the guy who is accused of raping the judge's wife.

C'mon people.

As an attorney, I cannot believe he would not be in violation of at least two rules of professiiial responsibility for his state!!

Click the picture & goto "last" for the latest on Vote Fraud:

...and a note from your compiler of links- near the "last" are links about Project Vote, PIGRIM, and other far-Left pressure groups who hide under the "activist" label while subverting representative government.

These nasty characters demean and dilute the value of everyone's vote.

The plan, besides their hope of throwing the election to sKerry, is to so thoroughly corrupt the election results that Mr. Bush will either not be taken seriously, or open to impeachment.

You had better take this stuff seriously- it is a dagger aimed at the heart of the Republic.

"You had better take this stuff seriously- it is a dagger aimed at the heart of the Republic."

So what are you suggesting I/we do? What if they DO succeed
in "STEALING" the election for the demonrats~. What can we do?

<\Placeing my tin-foil had squarely upon my head>

From what you suggest, it sounds like there is ground work being laid for a real revolution of sorts. You know, libberal vs. conservative or demonrat~ vs. republican.

<\Taking my tin-foil hat off and placing it back in it's box>

All I pray for is a LANDSLIDE victory for President Bush. That's the only way to keep this sort of stuff from happening.
